[Sunday, April 3, 2005: The second day of the tournament.]

We had a fairly early game today, but then had a large break in the middle. It was one of those important "we need to win to advance" type of games. We won it, so we were able to go into the semi-finals against our sister team, which we later lost to in double overtime. Double overtime! And a freak goal no less!

Mind you, both teams had beautiful chances with sure goals that somehow someway, didn't make it into the net. So a freak goal was par for the course.

This first loss sapped our will for the next game for the men's team and we lost a close and hard fought battle.

I really don't remember all that much for that day. We went to pick up some fruit to share with the team, as well as some fruit drinks. I finally got my post cards and wrote them up, although I didn't get the stamps. I was watching some sort of "kids survivor", and we all had a good time.

Our team went out for dinner afterward, and patted ourselves on the back for a good tournament. We did well considering that we split up our good players between two teams. It was fun.

[Sunday, April 3, 2005: Knee tweak.]

Oh, during that last game, I ended up going down in the corner with a couple of the guys from the other team. (They were big!) I ended up twisting my left knee a bit, and I wasn't feeling all too hot when I went to the bench. I think my weak knees are starting to give way now..
