Okay, I just made an appointment with my dentist for tomorrow. Apparently the next available appointment is in May! So I figure that I should make it for this one huh?

Well, I got a quote for that dent in my car (which I got a few months back). It's going to come to seven hundred to repair it. Ouch! That'll learn me.
In other news, we'll be setting up some sort of LAN at HT's place on Sunday. Oh boy, I thought I had grown beyond these types of things. Ah well, people need to socialize right?

I went out to get my quote and some wipers for the car. I did a quick check on the Canadian Tire website to make sure that there was some in stock, and found out that only one of the stores actually had anything! Serendipitously, it was near the mechanic's so I figured that I would kill two birds with one stone. When I went down the stairs and out the door, I was surprised when the door didn't open all the way. Apparently someone had tied one of the doors to the stair door to prop the hall door open. They used some of that yellow tape you see at police incidents, and that stuff is fairly strong. Since I couldn't get out anywhere else on the stairwell, I was forced to squeeze myself in between the two doors and under the yellow tape to get out. I'm glad I'm not overly fat.
When I got to the store to pick up the wipers, I noticed that the wipers I was looking for weren't displayed anywhere in the wiper section. After looking around for several minutes, I was getting ready to ask someone for help when I decided to look up and see what sort of extra stock they had in stock. That's when I started reading the labels on those boxes and noticed that they had tons of wipers! Why they didn't unpack them was anyone's guess, but the lady who got it down for me told me that they had ordered them and just got them delivered. Hmm..

Well, CJF was in town so I figured that I should go out and say hello. There were more people out this time than last time. (Mind you, last time there were a whole three people who showed up?)
It was pretty good, there were a bunch of people I had never met before, but they were all UW graduates so there was lots to talk about. I stayed until the end (as usual) and we ended up going the same way since we parked in the same lot.
