[9:44 AM EDT - Dream Sequence: Stemming the Flood.]

I remember that I was part of some sort of "game". There were three teams. One was a team of Aliens, another was a team of humans that were supposed to fight the Aliens and then the final team of humans just had to survive. I was lumped in with the survivor's group.

I found myself in some sort of underground complex, trying to find a way out of the complex. I eventually hooked up with a bunch of other humans (a mix of fighters and survivors) and we headed towards ground level. Since I didn't actually have to fight the Aliens, I decided to play some tricks on the fighters, playing with their weapons, or luring them into a nest or luring the aliens to the group, etc.

I figured that there were only five or six aliens, so it would be easy to finish them off. (There were about five or six in each group.) Besides, I knew the people on the other team (like DeeL and DH, so it wasn't like I was fooling some strangers. As we reached near the top of the complex, I realized that something was wrong. I was counting the number of aliens and I was way over the five or six that they started off with. Either I had counted wrong, or something was not right. In fact, the number was well over the total number of people who were participating in the actual "game"!

Where was this source of aliens coming from? I couldn't figure it out. I was able to get out alive, but I couldn't say the same for many of the others who were in my group.

At the entranceway, there were a huge number of refugees and fighters who had escaped from the complex, but there were even more Aliens that were trying to get out. The fighters were in a losing battle.

I decided to do something about it. I found DeeL's Hattori Hanzo sword and picked up a gun and muttered that I was going to attone for my actions. I went to the entrance and began hacking away at any creatures that tried to come out. The sword didn't seem to be affected by the Alien's acid blood, so I was able to hack and slice my way through. Looking down into the pit, I noticed that there were a large number of them gathered below, so I used up a powerup and destroyed them all with a whirlwind type attack. When the dust had settled, I knew that the creatures were beaten; for now.

I made my way back out and handed the sword to DH and quickly went outside. I didn't think the remaining defenders would be able to hold back the flood so girl and I made our way to the airport. Escape was the primary thought in my mind. With our gear, we were moving painfully slowly, but I was pretty sure that we would make it in time.

On the way there, we passed by an electronics store where some girl inside told me that she needed help. Apparently her brother died and she wanted to get access to his files. girl didn't think we had the time, but I persisted, saying that I'll just jack in and be done very quickly.

I stuck my pinkie finger into the slot and was able to hack into the system. I downloaded the information into my head and asked the girl if her brother was murdered. She didn't answer. After I had obtained all the information, I told her that there was one person she should track down to figure out her brother's death: Hollinger. With that, we left.

I had downloaded some interesting information, but as we were pressed for time, I couldn't examine it there. I was worried that the xenomorphs would be catching up to us, so I pressed on towards the airport..
