I was able to upgrade the kernel but the CD was pooched so I wasn't able to do a general update of the system. Well, I guess I'll have to try this manually since my CD-ROM seems to be acting up.

Well, that was useful. I've got to get some shots, but I got to the doctor's and the conversation basically went like this:
Me: I need to get some shots.
Doc: What do you need?
Me: I dunno.
So.. he figured that Hepatitis was always a good thing to be vaccinated against, but I couldn't think of anything else. Typhoid? Anyway, I found this site after the fact. So, all I have to do now is to get this prescription.. *tries to read handwriting*
I'll be playing around with scripts tonight. Expect to see a lot of "Internal Server Error" pages popping up tonight. (That is, after I get back from badminton.)

Strange, it does feel like it's getting easier when I'm playing badminton. I'm not diving for the birdie as much and I don't tire as quickly as I normally do. Mind you, we still don't have that many people showing up, and with three full courts, having around twelve people means that you're on the court all the time. Game, after game, after game, after.. you get the picture.
It's excellant practice, and good exercise to boot, although I don't think I'm doing that much cardio since I'm not constantly running. (I try to make my opponents do the running.)
Anyway, we had a couple of new recuits show up. They're both very good. Way beyond my league unfortunately. (And more than ten years younger than me at that.) Man, to be a kid again..
Anyhoo, I was doing some snooping around for firmware upgrades for my DVD-ROM but I wasn't sure what the heck I've got installed right now, so I'm not going to try breaking it. I've already got a server which I nearly broke twice (and had it broken once). I don't think my karma would pull me out of this one..
I forgot to mention that I've been riddled with hangnails for the past day or so. The one on my index finger is just killing me! *winces* Is there a good remedy for them and what causes them? I haven't been getting any lately, but it's as if all my hangnail karma got saved up for this week.
Hopefully I won't have to wash any dishes.. *looks around hopefully*
