Man, I'm starting to get hungry. I had a late breakfast this morning so I didn't start to think about food until three. When I got out the door, I was thinking of having something light since I wasn't that hungry. That's when I remembered that I didn't have any money on me, which meant that I'd need to drive to get money, which meant that it would take even longer for me to get food, which meant that I would get back in time for me to go home, which was silly since we usually have dinner early, so I figured that I might as well hold out until dinner. I've made it this far.
Hopefully I won't have to be updating these entries manually for much longer. I've got a couple of things to install before we're back up and running. I've got a couple of older entries to fill in..

Oh great. Well, lookee here. While I'm in the middle of installation, RedHat decides to release a new version. Not just a minor release either. A major 8.0 release. Geez. Now what am I supposed to do?

Oh boy, I finally got CGI working again. Hopefully I'll be able to see what got broken in the process.

Well, I found out what was wrong with the journal script and I seem to have fixed it. For some reason, this new version of perl doesn't like my parsing routine that I use to highlight search results. I ended up playing around for a bit before getting something more compact which actually worked. (With my small set of trial parameters.)
I noticed that there were some strange glitches with the search script itself. *sigh* No rest for the weary I guess.

Okay, what's left to do? I still have some scripts to test out and I've got an addressbook to recreate. (Oh joy.) I've got a website to make from scratch (or maybe I'll just redirect it here) and another update which I might install. Goody. Like I've got time.
There's pick up ultimate tomorrow and badminton or ultimate on Wednesday (they conflict unfortunately so I haven't decided which one I'll go to yet). First aid is on Thursday and I get a day of rest on Friday. Then the week begins all over again. Monday badminton starts next week and broomball starts next Tuesday. *looks at calendar*
Yippee. I hope to make it to the other side.
