[11:19 AM EST - I'm tired.]

I've got a lot of driving to do today, and I'm already ready to go back to bed. *yawns*

[Saturday, March 9, 2002: Early broomball and hockey marshmallow.]

I was able to skip out of work early so that I could make it to the broomball practice being held in KW. I was hoping to get there even earlier to do some visiting, but events at work cut into my extra "walking around" time. Practice was okay. It was mostly spent meeting new people (and old people) and getting to know the rest of the team. Actually, I'm not sure if all of our team showed up because I counted only two full lines. Actually, not even. I sure hope we have this few people. We won't last long without more subs.

The quality of the players on our team are.. okay. Our defence is experienced, but our offence isn't. RS made a comment on our defence:

"Too bad we're all right handed."

*looks down* Is it just me, or am I holding my stick left handed? (You know, taken out of context, that statement sounds bad.) Ah well, first thing you lose when you get old is your sight right?

Afterward, I rushed out to Williams to drop off some items and grab some grub. The rain started to really come down when I left and driving on the highway was dangerous! You couldn't see very far in front due to the rain and mist, and the cars were packed close together. It got better when I went into the passing lane and stayed there. (For some reason, all of the cars decided to drive in the middle lane. The passing lane was clear so I just zipped through.)

I headed back to town to play hockey. I made it to the arena early (after circling around three times since I didn't actually know where the rink was) so I wandered around a bit before going in. Actually, I wanted to pick up money, but the mall that was nearby didn't have my bank. I only found an ATM for my bank just as I was leaving the mall, but it had started to rain (the storm I drove through was catching up to me) and hurried back to the arena.

The game was much better on big ice, but we had an even greater range of talent on the ice. (A few more pylons this time out.) But we had two goalies, so that was good.

Finally, a bunch of us went out for some grub. We drove around for two hours looking for a place to eat before giving up and grabbing some Pho.
