I got up ealry this morning so that I could go to a ski lesson. The tips were good, although thinking about my posture, rhythm, movements and motions while trying to ski is quite a difficult task. Apparently it will all become natural over time, but boy, is it amess when you're starting off..
I did end up staying on the hill for most of the day. I figured I might as well hang around since I was there already. I got home and suddenly felt the urge to sit and veg. I was just too tired to do anything but stare at the computer screen (and take over the world - Right Pinky?).
I was planning on going to KW this evening, but after skiing, I was just in no condition to go. I was falling asleep on the drive back home and I knew that another hour of driving would put me on a one way trip into the ditch (or divider). So here I am. Oh well, maybe next time. I'll be heading through there in a few weeks anyway.
Also, had I gone to KW, I wouldn't have gotten the call. Yes, the call to grab a broom and some shoes to go curling! That's right, I'm going curling. Yes, me. Curl. Going.

Okay, so I've never curled in my life, and I've only seen it on TV several times, but hey, it's a sport right? I might as well try it out. Besides, it's been a while since I've seen.. her. (Yes, I'm going to leave those of you who are reading in suspense because this thing would be boring otherwise.) *cackles evilly*
Okay, this probably means I need sleep.
Cool. I found this link on the ShackNews. I want to test it out actually. The other link I found was on more of a negative note.

Didn't you do curling in high school? It's a LOT of fun, though not exactly the most strenuous thing in the world..

We had a curling team in high school, but we didn't actually do any curling in Phys. Ed. and so I never actually got to try it out. (The only intermural sport I tried during high school was archery.)

We did curling, bowling, broomball, tennis, archery, ping pong, handball and lawn bowling for Phys Ed. in high school.
