So the verdict is in: I'm going to Michigan next week. By myself. Oh goody. No pressure. It's all going to be okay right? Right?!? *listens to the silence*

Anyway, I went skiing tonight. It was my assigned shift (I switched) and considering that the comps are tomorrow, I don't know what made me switch to this date. It doesn't really matter though. I got some skiing time in, and a bit of first aid practice. Skiing wasn't particularly good because I have yet to wax my skis and the snow was very sticky. Going down required some effort. Some guy on the lift with me told me that a great (and cheap) way to wax your skis was to buy a candle and winebottle cork. Use the candle to wax the skis/board and smooth it out with the cork. I don't know how effective it will be, but it's worth a try right?
