[12:10 AM EST - Superbowl XXXVI.]

I just got back from the superbowl party. The game was actually quite good considering that most superbowl games recently have been blowouts. I was cheering on the underdogs since I didn't care much for either team, so it made for excellant entertainment.

There was lots of food, and more people showed up than I had expected. I didn't get to do any patrol stuff unfortunately, but it seems I'll be busy this week..

[10:22 AM EST - Working in.]

Wow, we got another snow storm hitting us. This one is tiny in comparison to the one we had last week. It still snarled up traffic though.

Argh! Okay, must get back to work.

[1:46 PM EST - Silver cap.]

I needed to get out and pick up lunch early since I skipped breakfast this morning. On the way, I decided to pick up some gas and stopped off at a very packed Esso station. By the time I finally pulled in next to a pump, I saw a sign over the regular gas pump indicating that they were out of regular. Crap. Reading on, it said that to make up for that, they priced their Silver gas at regular prices. Yay! *fills up tank* I was happily pulling out of the station when I heard a light thunking noise. It sounded odd because it came from the top of the car and not the bottom. I drove on for some distance before I realized something. I had put the gas cap on the roof of the car when I filled up for gas. A quick glance into the side mirror told me what I already knew. The cover was open, and the cap was gone. Doh! I quickly turned around, parked the car, and walked along the sidewalk searching for my missing gas cap. I should note that the wind was howling and the temperature was freezing (high of -9 windchill of -25) and I wasn't exactly prepared for long excursions out into the cold (am I ever?). It took me five minutes of slow searching before I was relieved to find the cap on the side of the road. I quickly put the cap back in before heading out to pick up lunch. (Mmm.. honey garlic..)

[7:36 PM EST - In need of rest.]

I'm supposed to go out and do a bit of first aid training, but I'm not really in any condition to move it seems. Actually, I want to go to sleep. Right now. *nods*

Oh, a link for a birth certificate.

[11:53 PM EST - So I had to get some exercise.]

I went to badminton. I knew I couldn't stay cooped up inside despite being sore all over. Yes, I like punishing myself for some reason. I didn't play very well either BTW.

Oh well, at least I got started on my taxes. girl's got a program that will help me with my taxes so I figured that I could try it out. Now all I have to do is wait for all of my tax forms to get in..
