I just came back from having lunch with girl, my grandma and one of my uncles. Ahh.. dim sum is always good! *pats tummy* One the way back to the house, I was exiting to the street, and girl pointed to the right saying,
"Uhh.. McCowan's that way."
Which is when she noticed that I already had my right turn signal on.
"Oh, that sounded like a left turn signal."
Yeah.. sure..
I should have the whole house to myself for the next little while, so I should go and see what sort of news tidbits are out there now huh?
Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to mention. During broomball a couple of weeks ago, remember how I was slipping and sliding a lot? Well, one of the ladies there thought I was trying extra hard for some reason (actually the ice was pretty slippery that day), so she said asked me,
"So you're trying to impress your girlfriend huh?"
*shocked look* Uh.. that's my sister. (Ick.)

I got this for MJO. I can't see it because I don't have shockwave flash installed. I'll come back to it at some point in time.
I've been having some trouble accessing Laz's page, but it might be a temporary glitch. OTOH, KGL has something up.. and that's about it. Not much to talk about newswise either, but I haven't read the paper yet.

I just saw on the news tonight about some trees in a forest in Germany that were planted so that they would have a different colour than the surrounding trees during fall. That's a pretty cool idea, the trees were planted so that it would form a shape that could be seen from the air. The only problem is that the trees were planted in the shape of a swastika. These trees were actually planted during the height of the Hitler youth around 1937.
I got a postcard today from Squishy! Yay! It's only a couple of months late, but heck, it's better late than never right?
