[12:11 AM EDT - No shoes. No batteries. No problem.]

One thing I forgot when I got back to my place before dinner was the fact that Derelict was going to drive me back to my bike. Had I remembered that, I probably would not have left my backpack at home or I could have put my boots on and left my shoes at home. In either case, I got dropped off at my bike and realized that I had no place to put my shoes. Derelict told me that he would bring them to work the next day. I hope so.

I also checked the batteries in my radio so I could use them in my camera to take pictures. One of the batteries had started leaking so I had to clean up the mess. Now I do not have enough batteries to run the radio, which means that I cannot use the alarm. I guess I could cannibalize the batteries in my mouse..

Finally, I was able to install those mirrored closet doors. I guess it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, once I figured out how to do it. They fit quite well and I hope to sell my old closet doors on craigslist. Maybe I should sell them for twenty bucks?

So now I am pretty much done for immediate apartment upgrades. I still have some blinds to pick up, and some furniture I could use, but I am doing pretty good now.
