I did not get to ride yesterday due to a number of events and factors. The same goes for today, which sucks because we have had some of the best riding weather I have seen in a long time.
Sleep-wise, I could certainly use more. I went to broomball last night and got yet another lesson on why it is nice to have substitutes on the bench. We had six people show up for our team (including the goalie), while the other team had two full lines. The odds were certainly stacked against us, but we actually played very well considering. I think there were quite a number of rookies on the ice (playing for them and us) and we were able to get a couple of good chances. The game ended up in a tie, which was better than I expected, although we could have easily won it (if I did not get tired halfway through the game).
The only real problem with playing broomball on Sunday nights, well there are two: It is late, and it is far. I got home fairly close to one in the morning and I was completely beat, and sore beyond compare. This made my wake up this morning even more miraculous. Heck, it was the first time I actually had a sore lower back!
I do have some things I need to do when I get back home, but my time is short.
