I took the day off so I could spend the day with MJNL. She was leaving on a jet plane tomorrow and we wanted to spend the last full day together: packing.
Well, that was the plan. I do not think we ended up doing a lot of packing. A good part of the day was spent picking up the new glass desk that I had ordered and putting it together. It was the last desk that they had at the store, and the store manager helped me carry the desk out to the car. I was pretty happy to have gotten it at a good price, although it would have been nigh impossible for me to have moved it from my car to the apartment by myself. Glass weighs so much!
After putting the table together, we headed to her parent's place where we did a bit of shopping and had dinner. I hung around for a bit, watching some Heroes and looking for a magnetic board before I headed back home.
