I have been spending some time after badminton to clean up the mess in my living room. I have moved basically all of my extra computer stuff into my bedroom where my computer used to be, and I have been able to move the dining table into a location that is actually not in the way. Another hour or work and the place should be pretty darned clean.
Of course, this means that I only moved the mess from the living room into my bedroom, but I think that is a good start? At least I basically concentrated the mess in one area.. (Besides, I still have to try to get that computer working..)

I have been having problems connecting to my server from work today. When I got home tonight to check it out, I noticed that my Internet connection was pretty bad. A little bit of poking around resulted in my gut analysis from work: the phone extension sucks. I needed a phone line extension so that I could put the router with the rest of my computer equipment, so I stole one from my dad. Unfortunately I did not check to see how good the signal was.
I have reverted back to the way it was before (sort of) but now I have cables everywhere again. I will need to find another phone extension cord..
