[1:02 AM EST - Dearly GParted.]

Well, I did a little bit of research on Friday night and found a particularly useful partitioning program called 'GParted'. What was particularly important was that there was a 'LiveCD' version of the program that I could use for the laptop, and after creating the disk, it ran with no problems.

However, it did take all night and most of the day to repartition the hard drive but at least it was successful. I also had to reinstall a fair number of the updates that did not get installed onto the laptop and also uninstall some of the programs that I had placed on the D: drive. (I will reinstall them on the C: drive on Monday.)

All in all, it went fairly smoothly, even though it was quite slow. The initial estimate of approximately two hours was quite far off as the estimate was about an hour and fifty minutes an hour later, and then an hour and forty minutes another hour later, buy which time I went to sleep. When I checked on it the next morning, it was indicating that it would need another hour and thirty minutes to complete.

Anyway, it is over and done with. Time to move on.

[2:25 AM EST - Order of the Phoenix.]

Well, I started reading that fifth 'Harry Potter' book. I am on chapter ten now, and I hope to have it done by the end of the week, if I can find the time to read that is.

[11:41 AM EST - Dream Sequence: Cat's eye.]

From a few nights ago, I had a dream where and saw this girl who had something funny about her eyes, so I took a closer look. The pupil in her left eye was not round like normal, but a vertical slit, and it was tinged with a yellowish-green hue. Her right eye was a normal blue colour.

As I watched in disbelief, her right eye morphed to also become the same as her left eye, but when she blinked, her right eye was again normal.

[4:18 PM EST - Something still wrong with BBCode.]

Ugh, MJO pointed out that there was still something wrong with the BBCode parser. Although I think it is not the parser's fault per se, but with how I implemented the previewing mechanism.

[4:32 PM EST - Doing twice the work and getting it wrong.]

Ah, so I figured out what the problem was. I changed the code to parse the comment before entering the information into the storage function. However, I did not remove the code in the storage function itself that parsed the comment, so the comment was doubly parsed and resulted in a funny data entry. Fortunately I had a setting to turn it off so there was little code to change. It should be better now. I think?

[5:54 PM EST - New US account.]

With our dollar flying high and mighty these days, I decided to open up a US account and put some money into it so that I would not have to pay the exchange when our dollar drops back down. I am on the assumption, of course, that our dollar is a little too overvalued.
