[8:52 AM EST - Day of clean up.]

Well, my place is a bit of a mess at the moment. We had a pretty good party yesterday and I would like to think that everyone had a good time.

Anyway, I should get to cleaning, this apartment will not clean itself.

[11:13 AM EST - Oh, and it is an hour earlier.]

So we have finally switched back to standard time. It sure does not feel that much earlier..

[3:51 PM EST - More than an hour.]

With the time shift, I now have more than an hour to return the beer bottles that have collected at my place from last night. I have pretty much finished cleaning up the apartment and now I have to do a few more chores before I get ready for tonight. I have a broomball game and I would like to figure out what is wrong with these two (or parts of two) computers I have left.

I also installed that Tor program to check it out. Anonymity anyone?

[4:36 PM EST - A short walk.]

So I went out to drop off that box that held my desk down at the garbage room, return some beer bottles, and cash a four dollar cheque. I also picked up some money to pay for this season of broomball. I am nearly set for tonight, I just need to pack my gear.

Was it worth walking around for half an hour so that I could get five dollars and thirty cents? Hmm, probably not, but the exercise and fresh air was good for me. The weather has gotten colder of late and winter may come earlier this year than it did last.

I also got a call from MJNL this morning. Well, afternoon actually. With her gone I have been falling back into my old habits. But she is always there at the back of my mind pushing me to get things done, so I get things done. I have been more productive since I met her, but I must admit that my condo is the cleanest that it has been since I met her too!

Ah well, it seems like I have a number of entries to catch up on. I hope I remember those days..

[5:26 PM EST - Things I forgot to say.]

Well, I knew I had a bad memory. It is just a little annoying when I am put on the spot however. When MJNL called, I wanted to tell her that there was a new Shopper's Drug Mart going up right next to where I live. There used to be a small strip mall and restaurant in that area that was torn down several months ago. I think there was a plan to build some sort of Jewish synagogue there but the plans must have fallen through. Anyway, this is a bit of news because there is a very large Shopper's Drug Mart a couple of blocks west of here, a smaller one a couple of blocks north of here, and another small one a city block north of here. Do they really need another? Probably not. Which one(s) will they close?

Another thing I forgot to mention: I nearly finished all of the Honey Nut Cheerios we bought a couple of months back. I did not expect to go through them all so quickly, but that was beside the point. BL had ended up picking up many boxes of Cheerios for some free booklets and we took one of them. Now, I prefer the Honey Nut Cheerios because I liked the taste, so I was going to throw out the regular box, but the 'Freegan' inside of me forced me to eat some of it yesterday.

It was actually pretty good. I think I will be finishing the box as well.

Oh, while I am on the topic of 'Freeganism', MJNL is adamant that I do not eat any foods past the "best before date". I keep trying to explain that "best before date" does not mean "spoilage date", but it is a pretty firm line.

Oh hey, I forgot to clean up one part of my apartment: the kitchen.

What the hey? I went over to pick up my dust buster, and walked past a 'Dust bunny'. I thought I was seeing things, but when I looked back, it was indeed a large ball of dust. How the heck did I miss it? I had cleaned that part of the room already!

Okay, back to figuring out what happened before..

[8:23 PM EST - It is a NuTone.]

Hey, I found out the make and model of the range hood that I have. It is a NuTone Whispaire. It seems like the motor will cost me at least forty dollars. Should I just get a new hood?
