[1:50 PM EDT - In the can.]

Okay, to finish off the rest of the salmon (since I ran of the Ritz-like crackers that came with the package) I am using some sort of crackers from the Smowdrop Square Cake Store from Taiwan.

Oh wait a minute.. these are not crackers! They look more like some sort of flaky pastry. Ah well.

Hmm, you'd likely notice the metal contamination. I seem to remember some maple syrup I had at my grandmother's once; it tasted like I was chewing on a tin can. A SWEET tin can.

Oh. I hope so. My sense of taste tends to go out the window when I get hungry. Mind you, I did have some very old maple syrup that had these strange stringy things in it. My mind was telling me that they were bacterial cultures, but my dad told me that nothing could grow in maple syrup.

When I got sick later that day, he threw out the entire bottle. (Could it have been a psychological effect?)
