[11:07 AM EDT - Dream Sequence: The fall of Eden.]

Hey, I just saw on the ShackNews that Star Trek is going to be taking a Quantum Leap. Oh boy.

I had some strange dreams last night, I can only remember snippets, but I do remember a part where I was in a FPS type environment, wondering why my rifle-type weapon was not taking down a lepord type creature that was heading towards me. (Curse my lousy aim!) Then the TOW rocket I fired had a huge wire attached and moved at walking speed. Strange, strange.

There was also a part where I found myself being one foot shorter. It was strange walking around and looking up to everyone. (Sure was belittling myself there..)

Finally, there was one scene that stands out vividly in my memory. I was supposed to acquire a relic from a barren winter wasteland for some odd reason. As I trudged along the frozen river, I had a flashback to a time when the white land was green, the sun was shining, and the river was flowing. As far as the eye could see were animals. Animals of all different types were mingling around the fields, packed like people on a beach, but they were playing with each other, milling about, with the antelopes grazing next to the resting lions, or cubs playing with the wolves. It was a utopia, a place where you always hoped your dead cat/dog/fish/gerbil would've gone after they've left this mortal realm.

There was another flash, and I saw the aftermath. The fields were littered with bodies. Thousands upon thousands of gutted, mangled carcasses as far as the eye could see. The landscape was painted red and the river flowed with their blood. nothing stirred amongst the piles of bodies. Not even a fly. There was nothing left alive, and the rambunctious chatter from before was replaced with silence. Dead silence.

I wanted to cry.
