[Monday, September 14, 2009: Cleaning, mostly.]

I figured that this was a good day to clean the bike. After having comments on how dirty my bike was inside and out two weeks ago, I figured that it was high time to wash off the dirt and grime.

We went to MIBAgentQ's place and while MJNL was helping BaL in the house, I started cleaning the chain (which was already really dirty). Then I adjusted the shifter, and then started washing the grime off the parts with kerosene, and then a grease remover. I could not believe how much sand and grit had collected on the bike! I blame it on the chain grease I was using and the amount of fling there was. I am using a chain wax now, so hopefully the bike will stay a bit less dirty. MJNL and I then washed the outside of the bike, and the bike is much more presentable now.

Throughout the day, people would come on over and visit for a bit. Neighbours, family members, friends, etc. In fact, Durka and Seven both showed up. How do they manage to show up when we are here?

Anyway, we stayed for dinner. Since it was getting late, and the group wanted to watch a movie, we decided to stay for the night. We went to watch 'Inglourious Basterds'. It was a fairly typical Quentin Tarantino movie, so I found it entertaining.

No, no, no! The (in)correct spelling should be: "Inglourious Basterds". Tarantino did that deliberately. :P
