I was woken up this morning by the fire alarm. However, this was not a normal fire alarm. The alarm that went off was not the building fire alarm (since it did not turn off when I pressed the button). It was my suite's fire alarm that had been triggered. It was pretty obvious that there was no fire nor any smoke, so I am not sure what triggered it. However, I do recall that dust buildup could lead to false alarms. So after I turned off the alarm, I vacuumed the device and hopefully I will have more peaceful nights.
On a side note, I recall the fire alarm making a funny beeping noise a week or so ago. I am not sure why, but I did not think that my alarms were battery powered..
