Well, we have been getting quite unseasonably warm weather these past couple of days. The warm wave should continue on for a couple more days and all the snow should be gone by then.
One consequence of this is the heavy fog that has been hanging around. Driving through it is a little dangerous, and on the way home last night we passed through an area of the highway where there was a massive power outage. The whole block was dark, and the only light was coming from our headlights.
Coupled with the heavy fog, this was a recipe for disaster, although I did not hear of any accidents this morning.
This would be great riding temperatures for this time of the year, but it is much too wet.

After work, I ended up scheduling a meeting with Durka, dinner with the parents, and badminton in the same night. After trying to figure out how much time I would have, it seemed as if I was cutting it mighty close when it comes to getting around to doing everything.
Well, the first thing was first. I went to pick up MJNL after work at the station, headed up to Durka's work place so I could give him the money for Seven's birthday present (and check out his new work location). That was a bit of a joke since I ended up going to the wrong place! I was only tipped off when I looked at the hours of operation and realized that this place was open longer than his..
Then I headed down to my parent's place and had dinner with the rest of the family. Laz came over since he, girl and Dangerman were planning to watch a movie, but MJNL was not feeling well and I had badminton so we skipped out.
Badminton was okay. I tested out my right hand and it seemed okay, although I seemed to be missing a lot of shots.
After that, I picked up MJNL and headed home.
