We had our belated Christmas party for broomball today. I actually had a moderately filling dinner before the game (egg salad with balsamic 'vinaigrette' and clam chowder) and the extra food at the bar left me quite bloated (although content).
One of the ideas that was brought up again during the meal was to rename the sport of broomball to "iceball". Sounds cooler no?
Oh, while I was leaving the bar, I noticed a police man with some sort of instrument (probably a radar gun) at the corner of the intersection pointing the device down the road that I had just come down on. I do not think he caught anyone though.
