Well, I finally have some time for a breather. We have been pretty busy these past few days. Heck, I do not think I had a free night since MJNL came back!
Anyway, today we went to MJNL's parent's place where they held a belayed Christmas dinner as MJNL was out of the country during the Christmas break. We were rushing around in the morning trying to get the presents wrapped up before showing up at the house. Well, to be honest, I was doing some laundry while MJNL was doing the wrapping. (I am a complete dunce when it comes to wrapping presents.)
We arrived early, helped out with preparing the food, and sat down to a rather humongous meal, where I ended up stuffing myself (again). That resolution of mine is certainly not holding up very well is it?
The food was good, and after the meal, we did the traditional secret santa. I ended up getting some bathroom organizers (one that you place in the corner and one you hang on the shower head). I also got a table cloth (yay!) and a wall board for magnets that doubles as a white (in this case silver) board. Nice!
MJNL and I ended up staying for dinner, so we watched a Bollywood movie in between and looked for some of MJNL's clothes.
When we came back, I continued doing my laundry (which is still in progress) and did a bit of cleaning around the apartment. It is still a bit of a mess here, but hopefully it will be more presentable with the next pass. On the minus side, I found out that neither bathroom organizer seems to fit where it should go, so we will have to return them.

So now that Christmas is over, it seems like I did a lot better this year:
I think there is still one more present in the works. Yay!
