Hmm, I finally got around to looking at that package I got from Amazon which had Dangerman's present and I realized that the items were actually shipped right after I made the order! I checked the order information and apparently the package was delivered (and received) on the 18th. Now, I do not remember getting any notices from the concierge or any notes in my mail regarding a package, so I have given them a shout to take a look at the logs to see if anything came in.
Maybe they just forgot to write it down?
So we had another high school reunion. This time we held it at JH's place, which was pretty close to my condo, which I was quite happy about. Their house was also fairly central and near the highway, which made for an ideal spot to congregate. The only real downside was the size, but only about twenty people showed up so we were all able to fit comfortably.
Most of the regulars showed up, but what I did not expect to show up was the sheer amount of food! I had expected people to bring snacks and the like, but Stonaday brought a lot of dinner type food, which actually was quite appreciated by me since I had skipped dinner, and the amount of leftovers that I took home gave me meals for the rest of the extended weekend!
It was good to see everyone again, nobody has changed all that much, which I guess is normal for people in our age bracket. Mind you, we started looking back at high school and realized how long ago it was. I think in a few years, we will have lived twice as long as the age we were when we left, which effectively means that we have lived a lifetime since we completed our diplomas.
Something to think about I guess.

Well, I bought two things online from the boxing day sales -- an Ipod and a Router. According to the Canada Post tracking website, the router was "delivered to receiver", it was clearly indicated on the website "Do Not Safe Drop", and I wasn't home. :(
The letter carrier probably dropped the packages off in front of my apartment door! Arrgh.
Canada Post FUBAR'd the delivery! I think I'll actually complain about this to Best Buy. -- HKL

Sucky! Well, I am getting a replacement set of DVDs, which I hope will show up this week and properly delivered this time around.
