[1:31 AM EDT - Lock bumping.]

I was perusing the MM forum and came across a thread dedicated to 'Lock bumping'. They posted a couple of videos. One was a news cast, while the other is a guy who actually explains how to create a bump key and use it.

Now I am curious to try it out for myself!

[1:36 AM EDT - Slow with the updates.]

Man, I rarely get time to update this site anymore. I have to wait for a breather usually, and those are coming fairly infrequently. However, I have been having a good time so I am not complaining.

Well, I have a few minutes, I'll post something quickly.

[Monday, October 1, 2007: Not the plan.]

The plan for today was to go to the zoo, come back for a party, and then head to hockey. As always, plans do not always go the way you want them to. The first thing that I found out was that MJNL had thrown out her medication after already taken one pill. The pills just happened to be in a white paper bag, which was also the same type of bag that her muffin was in for lunch..

Anyway, we had to go to a walk-in clinic to get another prescription as the original one was also lost. Luckily, we had the name of the medication so not all was lost. As we were driving out to the clinic, I asked MJNL if she had the sheet with the medication on it and I got a shocked look: It was left back at the condo.

Right, so we headed back to the condominium, and since I had to get some stuff from Canadian Tire, I dropped MJNL and headed to Canadian Tire with instructions on giving me a call when things were done. I actually was quite productive while I was shopping: I picked up an ironing board and a shoe rack, then I cleaned up the trunk of my car, loitered around Future Shop, went back into Canadian Tire to pick up some water purification pills, Brita filter replacements, and some hangers.

By then over two hours had passed and I decided to head home and wait there. Just as I was pulling out of the parking lot, I got a call from MJNL telling me that the visit was over and to pick her up. She was going to pick up the medication while I was on my way, so I should take my time. I decided to take a scenic route and drove though some neighborhoods that I thought were in the general direction of the medical centre. So by chance, as I was stopped at the light to turn into the clinic, I saw MJNL walking across the street giving me a call!

I guess the timing was pretty good, but by that point in time, it was much too late to go to the zoo, and there was no real point in going to 'Casa Loma' so we took the time to start cleaning up the apartment, starting with the beer bottles that had been sitting on my counter for.. months. The boxes the bottles were in were on the counter so long that some of the paint came off the box and was stuck quite firmly to the granite counter top. I did manage to clean it up by soaking the counter in water for a while and scraping the paint off with my finger.

We also started going through my wardrobe to figure out what stuff I should keep and which clothes I should get rid of. This continued on until it was time to go to the party. (We planned to show up late.)

The party was organized by MCC since she was in town for the weekend and wanted to visit everyone here. This was also the time when I introduced MJNL to my other co-workers. (The first time does not really count.) We hung around for a little while, but long enough to realize that TT had left his hockey equipment at home and did not drive. So we left a little early (which was okay) to drive TT back to his place (which was basically going back home), and then drive back up to hockey.

I was more concerned about TT's attendance because he was on my team but I should not have worried. Our opponents were missing their main goalie, and we had an easy time getting goals. I even got one at the end of the game that MJNL witnessed. (I personally did not think that it was that impressive.)

Anyhoo, we went back home after that.
