I had to work on a 'Gantt chart' for the past couple of hours. No, it was not for work. However, I did learn a bit about making plans for projects. I should do a bit more research into it..

Normally it is faster for me to drop off MJNL at the east station rather than the west station as it is going in the direction of my office and traffic going the other way is terrible. However, today was a rare exception as we got near the station and traffic came to a near standstill. It took a number of light changes before I was able to make my turn and drop off MJNL. It took a few more minutes before I was able to make it to a side street and get off the main road, but after that it was smooth sailing. When I got back onto the road, I saw a police cruiser blocking traffic in my rear view mirror. Later on, I heard the traffic report on the radio indicating that the road was closed due to a serious accident. Had I known earlier I would have gone the other way..

I have a couple of keys that are starting to give me problems: the "a" key and the down arrow. Both of these keys are acting funny. The "a" key will sometimes double up after I press the next letter, so if I press the "a" and then "n", I would get "ana". It is quite annoying. The down arrow is just super sensitive. That too is quite annoying. I should try cleaning out this keyboard.
So I brought MJNL to my parents place for dinner tonight and afterwards brought her out to badminton as well. Dinner was good, we had lots of food as usual but carrying stuff back home with two people makes such a big difference! I knew having a partner would have it's benefits!
People at badminton were curious as expected. AN had a knowing look on her face, telling me that she now knew why I was not going after NS. (Apart from the whole boyfriend thing.) I did end up running around more today than usual, and by the end I was pretty much wiped.
