I finally rode on my bike with a passenger. I felt nervous beforehand and the bike felt kind of weird as well, as the extra weight that had been added was not under my direct control. That level of unpredictability certainly makes the ride more difficult, but I started to get used to it near the end. It also did not help that I had a large pack on, as did my passenger, so it was like having two large people on my bike.
Ah well, I made it through in one piece! I hope to get more chances in the future to practice giving others a ride.
Oh crap, I forgot to get the keys to my parent's place, so I guess I will not be going to pick up some stuff from the house tonight.
