[10:57 AM EDT - From the school, to the neighbors, to here.]

I received a notice of registration for the upcoming election and referendum last week and the polling location was at some school that was not too far from here. A few days later, I received another notice of registration for the same upcoming election and referendum but with the location changed from the school to the apartment next to us. Last night I saw a poster in the mail room noting that the polling location was going to be in the party room downstairs, and I received a notice on my door this morning after I dropped off MJNL at the station.

This location is very convenient because it means that I can vote as I go down to my car or motorcycle before I go to work, or after I come back from work. Either the government really wants people to vote on this issue by adding more polling stations, or they just relocated the station to some place that is quite inaccessible to a lot of people in the neighborhood. (It will get crowded in there.)

[12:50 PM EDT - Dollar at par.]

It was bound to happen, while I was doing a few errands this morning, I came across a bistro with a huge sign saying,

"We will take US Dollars at par."

Now who would have thought that we would see that day?

[12:52 PM EDT - Speaking of errands.]

I did a few things this morning like pick up some soy milk, check my mail, look for paint for my bike, and sign a letter. The search for paint was a bit of a chore, as I headed to one paint store, where the lady told me that they did not have that type of paint and that I should check another paint store up the street. The second paint store told me to go and check out Canadian Tire as my paint was designed for vehicles. So I guess I will head back to Canadian Tire to see what they have in stock?
