I forgot to mention this yesterday. While I was driving to work, I noticed that the express lanes were quite uncongested. I was rather surprised as usually those lanes were packed. When I passed by on the other side of the barrier I noticed something: the lane was open.
There was construction on that part of the highway for the past few months, so I was stuck with taking this other route during that time, but now that construction is over, traffic should be considerably reduced and my travel time should be much better!
I found it interesting when I went for the laser eye consultation that the woman who I talked to lived in my general area and one of the things we were talking about was that part of the highway! Apparently she got a heads up from her husband and was able to take advantage of the open lane. Curses! *shakes fist*

I was reading through a Time magazine and came across an article about this year's news in medicine. The first thing in the article was about a doctor by the name of Woo Suk Hwang. Now, if this guy ever grew up in North America, I bet he'd be picked on as a kid.

I watched the first episode of Black Cat and.. well, it's okay.
I also watched the Koi Kaze anime. It's pretty much the same as the manga, although quite a bit of stuff was left out, probably due to time constraints, but the key points are kept in the series. It's an interesting story. Very sweet, but very sad.
