So, I'm hunting for parts for my new system and Derelict pointed me to a cheap pair of RAM sticks that I could pick up. I'm also picking up a 300GB SATA drive, so I still need a case, power supply, video card, and optical drive. Any suggestions?

Hmm, Derelict got me a USB keyboard for Christmas right after I picked up the new CPU and motherboard. Yay!

Hmm, after a few calls, it seems like I've got a few things to do in the next 30 hours: sign cheques, pick up presents, shop for items, drop off items, call people up, drive around town, etc.
I hope I've got everything written down somewhere..

Here was the plan: Meet up with MJO, hang for a bit while we wait for louder and Laz, and then go for food and something.
Unfortunately, I had also booked an appointment with Squishy so I wasn't quite sure how I'd juggle everything. In any case, MJO made it to my place before I could get home. Traffic was crazy bad for some reason and it took me twice as long to get back to the condo (it was basically a constant jam all the way home). Fortunately the concierge let him in and I wasn't too too late.
I ended up showing him 'Advent Children' to pass the time. Just as the movie finished, louder showed up! Since Laz had a party to go to, the three of us went out for dinner. The food was good as usual, but a tad more expensive than I would normally pay for food (as usual).
I left the two of them in the games room while I took off to Squishy's place to drop off the present (and have a little chat). I couldn't stay long, and she couldn't stay up long so things worked out (although I stayed longer than I had planned). Ah well, at least I got my prize for the Urban Outdoor Adventure Race. Well, it was a last place prize (a map of the bicycle routes in Toronto), but hey, a prize is a prize! *shakes fist*
I booted back home and found that MJO and louder were watching 'Hero' during which Laz called to tell us that he wouldn't make it (well, from the way he sounded, it didn't seem like he'd make it), so we watched 'House of Flying Daggers' before calling it a night. louder went home and I dropped MJO back at the hotel.
We passed by fair number of revelers (or bar hoppers) on the way down and realized that we were both older than all the kids that were on the street. Good grief.
