[10:55 AM EST - Dream Sequence: Bad flight.]

I had a very vivid dream last night. I'll write about it because I can still remember parts of it and it felt very real.

Anyway, I was booked for a round trip flight somewhere in Europe and we all boarded this plane. The interesting aspect of this plane was that the floor was composed of chain link fencing. The floor was also divided up into hexagonal sections, so that each section was properly supported and wouldn't sag beneath each passenger's weight.

Another interesting aspect of this plane was that it uses jet engines, with the engines right below the passenger compartment. The fuel is ignited below, with air going through the chain link fence to fuel the engine. No passengers are actually put in those hexagons, but I was sitting next to one, so I had a good view of the engine.

The flight there was mostly uneventful, apart from the bizarre nature of the aircraft, but funny thing happened while I was there, and we hurried back to the plane to get back. I found myself somewhere in the plane and noticed that one of the pipes had started to crack. I tried my best to keep the pipe together, but it eventually failed and began to spew out jet fuel. It wasn't long before it ignited and I hurried back to the passenger compartment. The air was thick and heavy with smoke and people had begun to suffocate. I took solace with the knowledge that I could stay down and avoid the smoke while breathing clean air through the floor, so long as I stayed away from the engines.

I hoped that we'd be able to land soon because there was no way the plane would stay up for long, and the smoke was starting to reach even the floor..

[1:39 PM EST - Chain Links: Read the TOS.]

LY passed along a link for some possible free stuff but GD noticed in the terms of service:

Yeah, I think I'll pass.

[6:04 PM EST - No resolution.]

Hmm, I'm having a little problem with my new cell phone. There are times when I would open it up and the screen would be screwed up, much like having the wrong resolution (or an incompatible resolution) for the screen. I believe it comes about if the mini-screen is displaying information and then I open up the phone. This usually causes my main screen to just look funny. Closing and reopening the phone doesn't seem to help even when I reset the small screen.

Disappointing!

[Wednesday, November 23, 2005: The CSX.]

I went to the CSX unveiling right after work. It was free and they were giving out free food, so I was compelled to go. The food was tasty, and was very Chinese in nature. Mind you, the vast majority of the people who attended were Chinese. There were your token white people around, but boy, was it a sea of chest high black..

There was an artist there who was drawing caricatures of anyone who wanted to have their mug drawn. Since it was free, I decided to sit down and see what he'd do with my face. The woman who was organizing this part of the event reminded me so much of LC but.. Nah!

In any case, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the final product. It was so funny!

The CSX itself was pretty nice. The premium version was nice, and had a good feel. It was different from the other cars, but the paddle shifts are a very curious addition to this class of car. One of the salesmen told me that the car was basically a sedan version of the RSX, since it borrows a lot of the internal components from the coupe, but I don't think so. This car is a bit more refined, but not as sporty. I like my RSX.

I went to broomball afterward. I played okay, but since we only had one goalie show up, I ended up in net for a bit and let in a whole bunch of goals. *hangs head*

Afterward, I filled up my tank and got some milk (and chocolate soy). Mmm.. soy milk..
