I've been looking at incorporating XML and XSLT into the website for a while now. After Derelict showed off some simple XML/XSLT to display out Quake III stats (which showed how inaccurate I was), I decided to try a hand at it. I was able to get some sort of parsing to work, but I realized that the static XML/XSLT pages didn't mesh well with my dynamic PHP pages.
Now that I've upgraded to PHP5, I think I'll try to use some of the built in functionality for XSLT support. The manual has some information, and there are other sources as well.

I had planned to go out west to take a look at a couple of glass end tables which I was thinking of buying, but the guy never called me back to confirm the viewing time. That was somewhat annoying. I spend most of the time on the computer because of that, but at least I was able to understand how to get XSLT working on my server.
I headed to LJ's farewell party later that afternoon. There was tons of food, and I think I ate way too much, because I wasn't playing all that well during the game.
I had a chat with SS and CC about purchasing bikes in the next couple of weeks. Those boys will really have to start looking because the window of opportunity is closing fast!
