[9:38 AM EST - A bit of a sea change.]

I dropped off my suit at the dry cleaners this morning. I should be able to pick it up on Tuesday.

There was one more thing I forgot to mention during my trip down to Memphis. In heavy traffic, when I want to switch lanes and the car on the other lane lets me pass, I would give a thank you wave. Normally that would be the end of it, but while I was down south, I noticed one guy actually wave back!

Whoa, I didn't know what to do but I kept on driving.

I've noticed in the past couple of days that my preferred method of switching highways was getting very popular. In fact, the traffic on the express lanes has dropped off significantly! There's virtually no line up on the other side, while the collector exit is pretty packed. The traffic still moves, so it's not so bad, but I'm thinking of checking the other exit again. (Because of the layout of the intersection, I can't actually see the exit ramp from where I am so I can't tell exactly how bad the lineup is on the other side.)

[11:16 AM EST - I cut myself!]

Ouch, I think it's the first time I cut myself while cutting bagels. I'm usually very careful around knives, but I was in a rush and ended up poking my finger. *sigh*

It's just a flesh wound.

[11:35 AM EST - Hey, so it's not me!]

Well, an upgrade of the SSL libraries seems to have fixed my connection problem. I guess I didn't need to go through that rigmarole to get it to work!

[12:06 PM EST - That's.. tomorrow?]

I found out that my high speed package should be arriving in the mail sometime tomorrow. On top of that, I just noticed that my temporary license expires tomorrow as well! Where's my card?!? (I distinctly remember the girl behind the counter telling me that my card may not be arriving on time - or something to that effect - but I forgot what the recourse was because I didn't actually thing that the card would be late, and it was quite some time ago..)

[1:35 PM EST - Run with it.]

Whoa, she responded. Well, I guess I'll keep talking?

I also need to get an eye appointment set up at some point in time too huh?

I'm also looking into getting a new phone seeing as this one keeps dying on me every now and then.

What else do I have to catch up on?

[5:47 PM EST - Not quite fixed.]

Hmm, the upgrade allowed the SSL to work, but it fails sometimes. I can't figure out why since I don't see anything in the logs..

[Saturday, November 5, 2005: Getting the equipment.]

Since I was in charge of the setup for the swap tomorrow, I needed to help and get the equipment over to the centre. We had a fair number of hands helping out so we were done pretty quickly. We spent some of the extra time getting some of the tables set up, and before we knew it, most of the setup stuff was done. Mind you, it was still pretty late by the time we were finished, so I was a little worried about not getting enough sleep since I had to get there by seven-thirty the next morning..
