[Friday, October 28, 2005: Drive in for a reception.]

The plan for today was to drive into town, go to Dangerman's parent's place to change, go to the reception, and then stay at Dangerman's parent's place for the night.

Well, that was the plan.

We got off to a late start. I was ready on time for once, probably because I was worried about being late. We didn't have too many problems going out of the city, but those two drivers.. I'm glad I was sleeping for half of the trip.

We arrived in town without much fuss. The place hasn't changed much since I was there last. We got to the house and.. we couldn't get in. We didn't have a key to get into the house and nobody was home! After several minutes of calling and looking, we gave up and went to the reception hall.

We tried to sneak in, but we were spotted before we had a chance to change. Ah well, things like this happen right?

The dinner was nice. I wasn't that hungry but the food was tasty. The music afterward wasn't so good. There was too much of a mix of music going on. Unfortunately people got on the dance floor when a semi descent song came up, but the DJ, fishing for hits would continue that trend (which I probably would've done) and we got tired of the same type of song over and over again. (A little variety, but not too much of a change in genre would be nice.)

I got to see a whole bunch of relatives while I was there. AL is tall! She's what.. 14? And she's nearly my height! What are they feeding that kid?

Anyhoo, after the dance, the three of us headed to Dangerman's parent's place to crash.
