I went to my semi-annual checkup this afternoon. I had planned on eating breakfast since I skipped dinner the night before, but I woke up late for some reason.
Anyway, I was on time for my appointment, and was told that I should get my silver filling replaced. They'll put in a white filling, but I had to make another appointment for it. It should be in about a week.
I also got a name and number of an orthodontist for looking at my teeth. I've been seriously thinking of getting those teeth on my bottom left jaw fixed, which would mean losing a couple of molars.
Well, better now than later?

I've been spending the past hour cleaning one of my pans. I left some oil boiling in there and it ended up burning on the bottom of the pan. I don't have any steel wool, so I had tried using my fingernails to clean up the gunk.
After a lot of work, I looked around for another way to clean off the burn. I found the can opener handle which had come off my original dollar store can opener, and it seems to be doing the trip. I still need to take a break now and then.
Okay, I'll get back at it.

Laz came by to pick up a CD and some DVDs that he left at my place as well as the metal bed frame that I had borrowed. While he was here, we finished off the movie (which was good), played a couple of missions from Star Lancer, and watched some Battlestar Galactica and the Leaf's game.
He was quite impressed by the production values of the new Battlestar Galactica series. I'm tellings ya, go and watch it!
I went to the hockey game afterward. I played okay, but the big event from the night was when I collided with KC on the ice. She ended up going to the hospital with a broken leg. I feel so bad! *sobs*

I forgot to mention one thing that I noticed while I was on my way to hockey. One of the messages on the highway message board indicated that the two left lanes for the express lanes were closed for construction. I was in the express lanes, and was thinking of switching lanes.
But as I got closer to the transfer point, I noticed that the collector lanes were getting more and more congested. Up ahead, I could see flashing lights indicating that some of the lanes were closed off. What the hey? I stayed in the express lanes and avoided the traffic.
