[10:41 AM EDT - Still not working.]

Argh! I went back to my parent's place to fix the server, but it seems like that it's still not working. I really didn't have much time to test it last night, but it seemed to work when I was there and it's a different error this time.

Very annoying!

[10:44 AM EDT - My first junk mail.]

I got some mail recently from Ramada Plaza Resorts claiming that I'm taking part in a marketing promotion and that I would get some sort of trip discount. How the heck they got my name and address so quickly, I don't know, but into the shredder it goes..

[11:03 AM EDT - Chain Links: Hobbit Schitt.]

Madelaine passed along a link and an e-mail joke for which I found a flash version of.

I couldn't see the first link though, so I'll keep trying.

[11:09 AM EDT - Caveat Lector: Pay for MSN.]

I got an e-mail message from KKYC about paying for MSN e-mail which turns out to be a hoax.

I'll be labelling hoaxes, scams, and phishing attempts that I come across with the Caveat Lector title.

[11:26 AM EDT - Well, that would explain it.]

It seems as if 92.5 Jack FM got rid of all of their DJs. They're using a format similar to what they had when they first launched the radio station. (No wonder why I haven't been hearing any news in the morning.)

[11:43 AM EDT - Chain Links: One click for cancer.]

Pokey forwarded a link for donating a free mammogram to an underprivileged woman a day.

Okay, I explained that wrong. Just click the link.

[12:16 PM EDT - Back up and running.]

I've been able to get the login to work with the server, so things seem to be okay now.

[Wednesday, October 12, 2005: Thanksgiving LAN.]

I had another LAN party at my place tonight. I was expecting a lot of people to show up, but fortunately a few weren't able to make it. We were left with five people ultimately appearing that night: Laz, Derelict, Astrochicken, 2046-LM, and theMediaman. That was a fairly good number for Rainbow 6.

People arrived around dusk, and we played until five, which was longer than I had anticipated. I wasn't feeling all that tired either, so either I've gotten used to it, or it was entertaining, or both.
