[1:56 PM EST - Hard drive klaxon.]

TT showed us something weird this morning. He was working on a computer with a broken hard drive which, when powered up, gave this loud warning klaxon and refused to work.

I had never seen this type of feature (I'm assuming that it's a feature) in a hard drive before.

[3:53 PM EST - With hot mail comes hot spam..]

Hmm, I've been getting a few more messages than normal lately. This is because of the spam that I'm now pulling from my hotmail account. I hadn't noticed it before since it normally filtered into the junk mail folder, but I've set the filter to be more permeable as it was blocking my legitimate testing messages (and probably some other stuff).

Ah well, I'll figure a way to filter this out later.

[6:48 PM EST - Chain Links: Lumileds for sale.]

Following up with the HDR post from yesterday, I found an Tom's Hardware article on a NEC Lumiled monitor. (It's not a true LED monitor either, but we're getting closer.)

[11:32 PM EST - Driving Conditions: So it's been sold.]

I see, the glass end tables I wanted to look at this weekend were picked up by someone else on Friday. Crappy. At least I was able to pick up my suit from the dry cleaner's on Saturday.

I bumped into SR and MR while I was out picking up lunch. They were pretty far out from their usual neighbourhood, so I was really surprised when I saw them there.

Oh, I've also decided to pick up the special edition black RAZR phone. 2046-LM has the silver one and he liked it, and EW actually has the black one and he likes it. I figure two people can't both be wrong right? (*flip*)

Oh, on the way to badminton (I played okay today), I was driving along the street and there was this one car that was itching to pass our group of cars, so he was able to squeeze through and peel off. Now, I know that there was usually a speed trap down this street and I was nearly caught once or twice, so I've been very cautious ever since. I kept my distance and watched as a black, undercover cop car pulled out of a drive way, with it's lights on, and pulled over the speeding car.

I win! I win! The rest of our group of cars went on our merry way.

Oh, there's an election coming up, so I've got to vote and update my address with Elections Canada.

[11:40 PM EST - I sit corrected.]

Sorry, this is a provincial election, so I have to get my address updated with Elections Ontario.
