[11:22 AM EST - Manga.]

Since I checked out Midori no Hibi, I read Chobits, Monster, and Koi Kaze.

That's quite a variety in manga subject matter. o_O

CTRL-A's showing the Monster anime (I'm buying). Apparently, it's a really faithful conversion. I tried to get them to show Koi Kaze, but they got all freaked out the minute I mentioned incest. Wusses.

Well, I found a source, and just started checking it out. Pretty Face was the first one I came across, then the others had good reviews so I went through them. I remembered that you mentioned Koi Kaze before.. didn't you link to a page from the manga?

I probably would've linked to a DVD review when I was complaining about that CTRL-A meeting. I don't think I've seen the manga at all...

The manga goes into more detail on their relationship and how others have an affect on their relationship (as well as Koshiro's attempts to fight his feelngs and conform to society). There are some differences as well especially near the end (like the bridal dress) but the anime hits all the key points.

If people can keep an open mind about the subject, I would recommend watching it. It's actually quite a good story. It's another one of those "forbidden love" type stories, but is definitely not for kids (although one of the characters is a kid - but I'm not in a mood to rant now), and is very subtle and fairly realistic in it's portrayal of the situation.
