[Monday, September 19, 2005: First day of the end of the season.]

I got up early so that I could make it down to the field at a reasonable time and have some time to stretch and warm up. Everyone was surprised that I had arrived early, but I didn't make much of it.

I spent most of the time before our first game stretching my wrist and other joints. One of the girls came by (I forgot who it was) and I was telling her about my wrist. She asked me if I went to the physiotherapist to have it checked. I told her that I hadn't. Then she reminded me that there was a clinic set up right behind where we were sitting. *blink*

So off I went to get checked out. Since I had already stretched my wrist, it didn't seem so bad when he was examining it. He suggested that I do some muscle strengthening exercises and to go easy on the wrist as it may be a repetitive stress injury. Then he asked me about my cap and asked if I was a ski instructor or a patroller. I told him that I was a patroller and found out that he was interested in patrolling! Woot!

I bumped into a bunch of people I hadn't seen in a while, like ZanZan, Squishy, CC, and the rest of the ultimate group. Tournaments are a good time to get together!

We lost our first game pretty badly: 10-3. We weren't expecting to win though since the other team was seeded much higher than us. We hoped to do better in the second game, but got killed again: 10-2. So we weren't feeling all too hot. Actually, I was feeling very hot. The weather was very good for ultimate, which meant that it was too hot for me. But I digress. We needed to play well in the last game to make it anywhere near our seed and amazingly enough, we pummelled the third team: 13-1.

That was a good feeling. We really needed that to salvage our Saturday outing. Afterward, a bunch of us went out for dinner.

I got home and was able to take a shower, but instead of going to sleep like most normal people would've, I went to my hockey game.

Let's just say that I didn't play all that well. I had no energy and couldn't finish a play even if I just had to stand around. Standing was hard enough!

So instead of going out for food after the game, I went straight home to shower and sleep. It was going to be another long day tomorrow..
