[Monday, September 19, 2005: Two for the show..]

Since I didn't have Internet access, I had no way of finding out when the first game was being held. I also ended up losing DWC's number so I wasn't able to call him up to find out the time either.

I decided to bite the bullet and head to the fields early just in case. I got there around nine-thirty, only to find out that our first game was an hour later. *sigh* At least I had time to munch on some danishes before the game (I stole bunch of bananas and oranges too).

Our first game went fairly well. All of us were sore, but pulled out a convincing win. It was fairly close though, but we had a long wait ahead of us for the next game.

That's when the other team approached us and asked if we wanted to play the game early since they weren't sticking around for the second game. The team was going to default anyway, but we wanted to get in legitimately. Let's just say that we wouldn't have gotten in legitimately. They killed us.

We had a long wait afterward. But our final game came soon enough. We ended up stealing a few girls since a couple of ours weren't in good shape. The final game was close, and I was out of juice by the end of it, but we pulled off a narrow win to take ninth place overall! Yay!

The teams went out for dinner afterward. I got lost on the way there, but eventually found the bar.

There was a lot more stuff that went on this past weekend, but I'm much too tired to talk about it right now.
