The headache hasn't gone away, but it doesn't come all that often (a few times an hour). I'm having trouble connecting to my server though. In fact, I've been having a lot of trouble connecting to my server in the past week or so. A lot of it has to do with the poor connection we had at the office as the antenna was screwed up, but the Internet connection seems good now, so that shouldn't be the cause..
The builder's representative came by to check out the issues I entered for the thirty day warranty form. One was deemed a common element issue, another was deemed unwarrantable (the break in the floor) and one other was blamed on the humidity. The other two (the tight door and loose plug) will be fixed though. I also asked her about the loud bathroom fan and she told me that cleaning would help. So I spent the rest of the morning trying to clean out the bathroom fan. The shape and size of the fins made cleaning nigh-impossible with the tools at my disposal (a pen, a cloth, and tissue paper). So I tried in vain to clean out the residue in between the blades before giving up and closing the grate. I'll need some Q-tips to reach in there. Amazingly enough, when I fired up the fan again, it was much quieter than before..
Since I'll be busy tomorrow night, I'll be having dinner with the parental units tonight. Unfortunately I left my badminton stuff at home. Doh!

Well, that took some work. I finally got the connection back up again. The router was disconnected, but then I had to cycle the modem as well. In addition, I had to reset the DNS server since the IP got changed.
Bah, at least I've updated the server and I've started to get e-mail again. I had originally wondered why I got so little e-mail over the weekend. Oh well, at least I'm not totally swamped.
I've got some old entries to post and make up though..

Yay! I got e-mail from one of those Bell representatives (finally!) asking me about my enquiry for Internet access. After a few quick e-mails, I should be set up and ready to go when my phone gets installed next week!
