[9:23 AM EDT - Road allergies.]

I decided to skip taking my antihistamines today since I seem to be doing a lot better now. That may have been a mistake though, since I immediately started getting the sniffles when I left the condo.

In other news, as I was getting close to the office, I passed by a car that was going moderately slowly on the highway. The van behind was tailgating, but I wasn't very surprised since the car was slowing down traffic. The van started signalling to get out of the lane as I overtook the car and went in front of the column, but I didn't make much of it as I sped away.

When I looked in the rear view mirror, I found it really odd that both the slow moving car and the van were now in the adjacent lane. Again, the car was moving slowly and the van was tailgating. I continued to keep tabs of what was going behind me and saw the slow moving car block the van's path every time it tried to switch lanes.

This was getting dangerous! Traffic ahead had slowed down so both the car and the van began to get closer and closer to my position..

Fortunately, I was able to go through a break in the traffic and got away from the two combatants, they eventually caught up to me at the light, but by then the van managed to get away from the car. Craziness. No matter how good a driver you might be, there will always be crazy people out there on the road..

[1:11 PM EDT - Blister message.]

I've got a nice blister on my thumb from 'Taiko' drumming on Sunday. It's not painful and it's small, so I'm pretty lucky it didn't burst from badminton last night.

I had a message on my phone since Sunday. Someone had dialled my number accidentally (probably bumped the phone) and it left two messages. The first was fairly short, but the second didn't disconnect until it reached the maximum length of the voice mail message buffer. I should have kept track of it, but it was getting close to five minutes there.. (And I wasn't able to remove the message until after I had listened to the complete recording.)
