I finally bit the bullet and ordered my residential line yesterday. I figured that I might as well get DSL since it would make doing some things from home a lot easier (like working on this site). I got a confirmation message today for my order. They'll come by and set up the link on the 26th.

Yup, bad time of the year to be asking for a new phone line.
Ah well, at least I won't have to pay until it's installed, and I'll be able to hook up my intercom to the phone. It's all good right?

Well, whatever storm that was supposed to hit us didn't, and now it's a fantastic day out there. I went out for a walk to deposit my cheque, and now I feel a lot more fiscally safe. At least for a few days.
