[10:03 AM EDT - Sore client.]

Hmm, my sore throat is getting worse and it starting to affect my voice now. That's not good.

I got my car washed and my hair cut last night. I should be good until I get the car detailed sometime next month. I also went to badminton and played with my right hand. The wrist guard trick helped a lot and playing wasn't so bad, although I probably should have gone easy on it since it was a little sore afterward.

I decided to use the ddclient instead. Being one of the suggested clients, I figure that it should work without a hitch? (I noticed that I had set my domain name as static, which would explain why it didn't seem to be working.)

[2:25 PM EDT - Scene Survey: I am.. the backrubber.]

Maverick passed along a link for yet another personality test and I tried it out and found out that I was a Backrubber. Oh joy.

[Thursday, August 25, 2005: Only two controllers.]

I dropped by Dangerman's place today since Laz was going to go over for dinner. I showed up and found out that they were playing that new X-Men game. Unfortunately there were only two controllers so I decided to work on the computer instead. It took a half an hour or so before I was able to get the wireless connection working, and even then, the connection kept getting dropped. I have no idea why, but we switched to cable and things went smoothly.

We went out for dinner but I wasn't feeling all too good so I didn't eat that much.

When we got back, we had a few games of Cutthroat with an interesting house rule: You have to sink a ball for the series of balls (low, middle, or high) which will be your lives before you can sink any other balls. The ball you sink will come back out in the middle of the table. So the last person to get set will be at a severe disadvantage usually.

We went back upstairs and they played more X-Men while I watched the rest of the GTO episodes that Laz lent me. Fortunately the one episode that was missing was the one that he showed me before years ago when he was showing off the series. Lucky!
