I went to hockey today and was late. I was busy downloading stuff, which was why I was a bit tardy. I was able to get on the ice before the game started though, although I didn't get much time to warm up.
My wrist was starting to hurt again, and after the game, I certainly didn't feel like using it. I will probably have to talk to some sort of physiotherapist or chiropractor to take a look at it soon.
After the game, a bunch of us went out for lunch and I let BL drive my car for a bit (in the parking lot).
I gave Windelynn a shout to see if she was up for shopping, but I ended up waking her up and decided to can the idea.
I headed up to HaremPresident's place to see their new addition and saw FlyingS while I was up there. I hung around for an hour or so before heading back down to have dinner with girl and Dangerman.
Afterward, we went down to Windelynn's birthday party. We only stayed for a few hours before heading back home. I actually recognized.. half of the people there. (Which is a lot more than I had anticipated.) One who I didn't recognize was AY, until she told me
"I have a brother named [name]."
Ah ha! She was that AY. Hey, so I'm not good with faces or names.
Anyhoo, the other notable quotes were from one of Windelynn's friends who was telling us a story of how someone called Windelynn something,
"..and she gave him a mouthful."
So girl asked,
"Did you mean 'earfull'?"
Later that night, someone asked this same person if people were drinking and she responded,
"Everyone's well lubricated."
Lubricated? (Is there something going on at this party that I wasn't aware of?)
Anyhoo, there was a lot of food, but I was very full from dinner. I guess I'll have to make sure that I come to these parties on an empty stomach next time..
