I went to my first game of hockey after my long absence and I felt a little funny on the ice. It was at a new rink so that might have had something to do with it. In any case, I played okay but I could've done a lot better.
After the game, a bunch of us (SS, LJ, CC, OC, YC, and EC) went out for lunch. I probably shouldn't have ordered so much considering that I was planning on going to Derelict's place for some LAN gaming (and probably get stuffed with food).
Before heading back home, SS and I went to the drive centre to get our licenses upgraded to GM2. When I went to the information booth to tell the girl that we were going in for our upgrades, she looked at me and said,
"Oh, getting your M2?"
I was quickly taken aback and asked her how she guessed. She told me that there were a lot of people coming in to get their licenses upgraded. Hmm, I guess it was that time of the year.
I rushed home to get cleaned up before 2046-LM came by to pick me up and we headed to Derelict's place. We got there without incident, and one of Derelict's friends was already there. Another showed up later so we had a total of five at one time.
Unfortunately, those two had to leave, so it was just the usual three of us. At least we got pizza, and Derelict's sister baked us some cookies. (Actually there was enough there to feed an army.)
2046-LM and I left Derelict's place later that night and I headed to girl's place to watch a movie. Laz, Tenshi, and Dangerman were there and we watched 'Sin City'. That was a pretty good movie, but then again, I've always liked comics.
