Dangerman, Laz, Growly, and FlyingS came by this afternoon for some Xbox gaming. Actually, FlyingS was coming to see the new place, but we got him playing some Halo 2. We had some trouble getting the game console working with the AV equipment in the theatre room. Heck, we had trouble finding out how to turn the darned thing on! (I felt kind of stupid after finding that power switch.) Even with power though, we couldn't seem to get the video to work. (It was expecting the S-Video input rather than the RCA video input.) Growly suggested a classic computer fix: Turn off the equipment, and then turn it on again. It worked!
Anyhoo, after a couple of hours of mayhem, we went out to dinner at the Greek restaurant near my place (where the Thai restaurant used to be). The food was fairly good and the price was okay. girl came out to join us for dinner and afterward, Growly and Dangerman left, so FlyingS, Laz, and I watched some "Legend of Galactic Heroes" before calling it a night.
