I went in last night to finalize my mortgage and I'm fairly happy with the terms. I've set up all the information into my financial software (thanks KGL) and it seems like everything is set. Now I just have to meet up with the lawyer to set up the last bit of the paperwork, get the final payment set up, and.. that's it! Then I'll be part of the rest of the debt paying world..

This took a lot longer than I had anticipated. First of all, there was construction on my street, so there wasn't really a spot for the truck to park. So when I got the call, they told me that they were waiting outside on the main road because there was no other place to sit. It took me a while to get down and talk to the concierge and find out that there was a spot to park in front of the moving room. After the couch was moved up to my room, it took a number of tries to get them put together because some of the parts weren't in the right position. Then after the couch was put in place, I wanted to test it out and realized that one of the reclining ends didn't work. Which was when one of the movers remembered that he didn't cut the moving band because I was putting on the felt pads. Doh! It was all good though. the couch is now in place.
Unfortunately, it looked way too large for my room. Gosh darned it! Ah well, I guess I'll have to live with it for now. At least it's really comfy!
