[9:51 AM EST - Just one relapse.]

Hmm.. and it soaked up a few hours. But that was some time ago.

It's funny though, even when I'm not actively doing any of this stuff, it still appears in everyday activities. Very scary.

[6:41 PM EST - No time to check.]

Argh! I wasn't able to check with the hill to see if my schedule was acceptable or not. I also found out that I might be losing a patroller, but in any case.. I've got things to work on.

And what's this? How did it get so late already? I'm going home!

[10:03 PM EST - Ahh.. GD.]

I figured that I should install the GD library for my thumbnails as it's going to be some time before PHP5 is considered stable enough for Debian.

As such, I decided to install the GD2 module but came across some problems when it didn't work. A quick search came up with the discovery that the installation put the module in the wrong directory (or pointed the ini to the wrong directory) so I made a small adjustment to get that to work. Then I realized that I had set my PHP settings to something more secure than my old box, so I had to define my variables more carefully. Finally, by comparing scripts, I realized that the referrer fields weren't being populated properly so I had to fix that as well. *sigh* All that work for one measly module (that also took up over twenty MB of space)!

[10:13 PM EST - Interesting clock.]

Hmm, I was looking up something and came across a guy who put together a php/javascript server clock which does basically the same thing as mine, except that mine doesn't handle the back button well. Cookies would help I guess. I'll have to look into that.

[10:54 PM EST - Getting spammed.]

My Gmail account's starting to collect a fair bit of spam. The spam filter's pretty good though. I haven't had any mistakes yet..

Well, except maybe one that got through, although I'm not sure if it's spam or not. In any case, I'm off to sleep.
