[10:24 AM EST - Rainy and slow.]

Ugh, it's raining out there and the roads were a little wet. This resulted in a heavy congestion on the highway and it took me twice as long to get to work. In addition there was an accident at the intersection where I had to turn at, so I ended making a huge detour, tripling my normal travel time. Argh!

In addition, I've got a pain in my neck. (Although I think my gut is recovering - although I'm a little worried about antibiotic resistance now..)

[10:33 AM EST - See difficult.]

With Laz's bout with the C. difficile bacteria, and my use of antibiotics, I found out that the Star had a number or articles about that deadly bacterium in the past week. The one that caught my eye initially was about tracking the bug's DNA.

Other links include the use of antibiotics, and the C. difficile outbreak.

[2:10 PM EST - No poppy col..ins.]

Since everybody was indisposed during lunch, I decided to go out by myself. I ended up bumping into H in the parking lot and changed my mind. I was going to go and pick up food but I wasn't able to get my lunch order in (my phone died, and then all later calls never got through), I decided to go on my own.

I was going to check out this little diner we noticed on the way out to lunch, but on my way there, I had remembered that Tim Horton's was giving away those commemorative poppy quarters, so I wanted to go and pick one up.

I got to the restaurant and noticed a sign that noted that they were out of quarters and that more would be coming "soon". You can order yourself some of those quarters from the mint though. Bah! At least I got to try out that beef stew that they just released. It wasn't all that shabby.

[3:48 PM EST - Contango this Backwardation.]

I was talking with RW and he started going on this spiel about investing, and keeping an eye on the markets, and spewing out all of this investment jargon. Anyway, he pointed me out to an article about the investment outlook that I'll need to look at later.

[4:41 PM EST - try2hack.]

Laz pointed me to the try2hack site. After passing the first level, I have a good idea what's coming up, but I don't have the time right now to try breaking through these locks so I'll wait till later.
